1. Definitions

The following terms are used throughout this Privacy Policy. Understanding them will help you interpret how Rush Tagging collects, uses, and protects your information.

2. Data Collection

Rush Tagging processes only the minimum information required to provide multiplayer functionality, authentication, purchases, progression synchronization, security, and platform compliance. The categories of data processed are described below.

2.1 Oculus/Meta User ID

When you launch Rush Tagging, your unique Oculus/Meta User ID is received from Meta and processed to authenticate your account with the backend services, including PlayFab and Photon. The User ID enables you to create or join multiplayer sessions, communicate with other players, synchronize gameplay, and access your account data. The User ID is also used to associate player progress, virtual currency, and cosmetic purchases with the correct account across sessions and devices.

2.2 User Profile Information

Rush Tagging accesses your User Profile to identify you as a signed-in player and associate your account with PlayFab services. Profile information is used to restore purchases, manage player progression, synchronize owned cosmetic items, and provide a consistent experience across devices. Profile information is not used for advertising or shared with third parties except as required to provide these Services.

2.3 User Age Group

Your age category is retrieved exclusively through Meta's User Age Group API. This information indicates whether you are classified as a child, teen, or adult. Rush Tagging does not collect, access, or store your actual date of birth or exact age. Instead, the application relies solely on the age group classification provided by Meta to manage features such as multiplayer interactions, communication, user-generated content, and other experiences that may have different requirements for younger users, in compliance with Meta's platform policies.

2.4 IP Address

Your IP address may be recorded when you connect to the Game's online services. IP addresses are stored only for moderation and abuse prevention purposes, such as enforcing IP-based bans against users who violate the rules.

2.5 Purchase and Transaction Data

Rush Tagging uses In-App Purchases (IAP) and Downloadable Content to allow you to optionally purchase cosmetic items and access additional game content. Purchases are securely processed and validated so that purchased content can be unlocked and restored across supported devices. Downloadable Content allows the application to deliver new cosmetics, assets, and game updates without requiring a full application update. All purchases are optional, and you can continue using the core gameplay experience without making any purchases. Payment information is processed by Meta (or the applicable platform storefront); Rush Tagging does not receive or store your payment card information.

2.6 Gameplay Data

Player progression data, cosmetic inventories, and virtual currency balances are stored through PlayFab. This data—along with your account information, purchases, and Downloadable Content entitlements—is associated with your authenticated account so that it can be restored and synchronized across all supported devices.

3. Use of Data

The information described in Section 2 is used for the following purposes and no others:

3.1 Authentication and Multiplayer Services

Your User ID is used to authenticate you with PlayFab and Photon, enabling you to create or join multiplayer sessions, communicate with other players, and access your account data.

3.2 Gameplay Synchronization

Your User ID and User Profile are used to synchronize gameplay data—including player progression, cosmetics, and virtual currency—across all devices linked to your account.

3.3 Purchase Management

User IDs and User Profiles are used to validate In-App Purchases and Downloadable Content, restore previously completed purchases, and ensure that cosmetic items and virtual currency are correctly attributed to your account.

3.4 Moderation and Abuse Prevention

IP addresses are used exclusively for moderation purposes, including the enforcement of IP bans against users who engage in prohibited conduct.

3.5 Device Bans

Device bans are used to help maintain a safe and fair multiplayer environment. Device-level restrictions are issued only after confirmed or repeated violations of the community rules, including but not limited to:

Device bans are never used for tracking, profiling, analytics, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to enforcing the community standards. This functionality helps prevent repeat abuse and protects the integrity of the multiplayer experience.

3.6 Age-Appropriate Experience

Age group information is used to apply appropriate restrictions or permissions in accordance with Meta's platform policies, ensuring that all users receive an experience suited to their age category.

4. Children's Information

Nullbin Studios is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of younger users. The following provisions apply to children and minors:

5. Age Group Self-Certification

Rush Tagging relies on Meta's User Age Group API to determine each user's age classification. The application does not independently verify age, nor does it collect birth dates, government-issued identification, or any other age-verification documents.

Based on the age group returned by Meta's API, users receive the following experience:

If you believe your age classification is incorrect, please contact Meta directly to update your account information.

6. Other Provisions

6.1 Third-Party Services

Rush Tagging uses the following third-party services to operate. Each service has its own privacy policy, and users are encouraged to review them:

These services are used solely to provide game functionality. Nullbin Studios is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. Your use of the Game constitutes acknowledgment that your data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

6.2 Data Retention

Your data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Game's services and comply with applicable legal obligations. Moderation data, including IP addresses and device ban records, may be retained for as long as necessary to enforce the community standards.

6.3 Data Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting Nullbin Studios at the email address provided in the Contact Us section below. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, your data will be removed within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate moderation purposes.

6.4 Meta Platform Compliance

Rush Tagging is developed and distributed in compliance with Meta's platform policies, including requirements related to data handling, age gating, and user privacy. Nullbin Studios is committed to maintaining compliance as these policies evolve.

6.5 Data Sharing

Nullbin Studios does not sell your personal data. Your information is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for marketing, profiling, or targeted advertising purposes. Nullbin Studios does not use advertising data brokers. Data is shared only with the third-party service providers identified in this Privacy Policy (Meta Platform Services, PlayFab, and Photon) and only to the extent necessary to operate the Game's services.

6.6 Changes to This Policy

Nullbin Studios reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any material changes will be communicated through the Game or other appropriate channels. Your continued use of the Game after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
